Support Us

Let us continue this journey together, your support can help us to achieve what would've been impossible without the help of people who care to make positive changes in our lifetime.

Make a difference today

This has resulted in the widespread understanding in Africa that children with SEN are viewed as outcasts from society, and in most cases are locked away, or hidden due to families feeling the pressure of coping or not knowing how to deal with their children’s disabilities.  There are known cases of misdiagnosis of children putting into mental homes and not getting the correct treatment that they deserve.

What We Do

By supporting us, you  can help to improve the benefits our facilities provides, including the peer group sessions will be the opportunity for individuals to express their thoughts, and feelings without prejudice and ill content directed at individual.

The purpose of having a platform to express themselves without bias in what they would normally face, without any fear, and confidence to express their feeling in a safe non-judgemental environment.

Reaching out to the World

The facilities and advice in Chad for individuals and families dealing with SEN is limited due to restrictions in funds, and no media attention.

The stigma that many people experience with SEN is a result of lack of awareness and understanding which can then generate a wider perception, that is not  factual, but based on false assumptions.  We aim to put this right.

Our aims

The public perception is what ‘4 Children and Family Respite’ hope to change,  we will promote awareness and maintain that all individuals with SEN are treated with the same respect and attention as an abled bodied child, with no special needs.

Each peer group session, each interactive connection we respond to will be done on the basis of understanding exactly what the individual or families are experiencing.

With the aim of providing clarity and understanding, as well as advice and support , we will offer those who use our service ‘ HOPE’ for the future.
